Kamloopa Powwow 2026
June 26 – 28, 2026
Kamloopa Powwow Arbour
345 Powwow Trail(See Google Map)
Everyone is welcome to join in and to celebrate 3 days of vibrant Indigenous Culture! The Kamloopa Powwow Society is honoured to host the 45th annual Kamloopa Powwow taking place June 26-28, 2026 at the beautiful Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc Special Events Facility (the Arbour) within Secwepemcúl’ecw.
A Powwow brings people together in a good way. By being together, we will celebrate our culture and lift our spirits up. Kamloopa Powwow helps to honour our personal pride as First Nations and share our beautiful culture and territory with the world.
The Kamloopa Powwow expects another large turn-out with an estimated 500 dancers and drummers from all across Canada and the United States. Attendees can expect to enjoy amazing drumming and dancing, colourful regalia, great food, and shopping at the artisan vendor booths.
Please remember that this is a drug and alcohol-free event.
Traffic & Access Notice for Kamloopa Powwow Weekend
To help reduce congestion along the Trans Canada Highway during Kamloopa weekend, we kindly ask all guests, dancers, singers, vendors, spectators, and especially Sun Rivers residents and those travelling from East Shuswap Road to use the East Shuswap Road access route whenever possible when attending the Kamloopa Powwow grounds.
Using the East Shuswap entrance will help:
Reduce traffic backups on the highway
Improve safety for pedestrians and families
Keep traffic flowing smoothly during peak hours
Assist emergency vehicles, shuttles, and event operations
