Ts’il Kaz Koh is pleased to welcome Jared Tibbetts as our Natural Resource Programs Officer.

Jared is the son of Ryan and Sherry Tibbetts and a proud Ts’il Kaz Koh member. He brings a strong background in natural resource management, communications, and governance to this role. Over the past four years, Jared has worked with a communications consultancy firm, where he contributed to a variety of governance and forestry projects. His experience includes interviewing Elders, developing strategic plans, and supporting clients in achieving their goals. Prior to this, he studied at Okanagan College and gained valuable experience through various natural resource focused positions, providing him with the knowledge and skills to support the Nation in this important role.

As Natural Resource Programs Officer, Jared will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of natural resource initiatives that reflect the values and priorities of Ts’il Kaz Koh. He will work collaboratively with community members, leadership, and partners to help advance stewardship, land management, and resource-related programs while ensuring strong communication and community engagement throughout these initiatives.
