Policies and Plans
The TKK Natural Resources Policy and Planning Program is focused on developing policies, plans, and community-driven approaches that support the responsible stewardship of Ts’il Kaz Koh territory. Guided by respect for the land, water, wildlife, and traditional knowledge, the program works to ensure that all activities within the territory are carried out in a way that honors and protects the environment for future generations.
Through planning, community engagement, and collaboration, the program helps create frameworks that reflect TKK values, priorities, and cultural responsibilities. This includes supporting sustainable land use, protecting culturally significant areas, and ensuring that development and resource activities are approached with respect, accountability, and care for the territory.
The Natural Resources Policy and Planning Program plays an important role in strengthening community stewardship, preserving cultural and environmental integrity, and supporting long-term sustainability within Ts’il Kaz Koh traditional territory.
